KHUNAWA [ called as GREEN CHILLI PICKLE]






INGREDIENTS TO MAKE KHUNAWA [GREEN CHILLI PICKLE]

·      Fresh green chillies – 500 gram.

·      Garlic – 100 gram.

·      Ginger – 100 gram.

·      Amchoor powder [mango powder] – 1-4 cup.

·      Lemon – 1.

·      Salt to taste.

·      Mustard oil – 3 teaspoon.

METHOD

·      First wash the green chilli and remove peal from ginger and garlic then wash it together. Keep in to the sun for 1 day.



·      In a grinding jar put green chilli, garlic, ginger, amchoor powder and salt to taste and grind it all.



·      In a pan heat the mustard oil and put in to the oil which u grind and stir it nicely for 15 minutes till it becomes mash.



·      Keep pickle in one glass bowl for cool to room temperature.



·      After that u keep the pickle in one jar, on top you can put lemon to taste and close the lid of the jar and cover it.



·      This pickle stays for a year at room temperature.



·      You can enjoy this pickle with your plan meal like if  you are having dal and rice u can have this this it will be very tasty n very spicy, any time u can have this pickle ex-lunch, dinner etc.



·      It is very easy to make, u can make this pickle at your home. I hope u all will like my recipe.



TIPS

·      Always use glass or jar for storing pickles

·      Make sure that utensils you use for pickle its should be dry. Otherwise you pickle will spoil very soon.
